The Walksnail Ascent Lite Kit is a compact digital FPV system designed for lightweight builds where low latency and clean HD video are the priority. The kit includes the Ascent Lite VTX and camera, delivering 1080p footage with an average end-to-end latency of around 35 ms for responsive flying.
Operating in the 5.8 GHz band, the system supports multiple bandwidth modes and bitrates up to 25 Mbps, allowing pilots to tune image quality and link stability for different environments. A wide 3–12.6 V input range makes it suitable for 1–3S setups, while the small VTX and micro-size camera keep overall weight low.
MSP + DisplayPort support enables Canvas-mode OSD with Betaflight, iNav, KISS, Fettec, and ArduPilot, overlaying flight data directly onto the digital feed. Firmware updates are handled via USB using Caddx’s PC tool, and pairing with compatible Walksnail goggles is quick and straightforward.
Compatibility note: The Ascent Lite system uses a different platform to the Walksnail Avatar HD range and is not compatible with Walksnail Avatar HD VTXs, cameras, or goggles.
