In essence, it allows you two mix and match antennas for a solid video link. So it might be that you select a circular polarised omnidirectional antenna, which will provide good reception in all directions in the near field, and a directional high gain patch antenna for long distance flights. The diversity receiver is clever in that it will seamlessly switch between the receiver with the strongest signal.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWhat is RaceBand?\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eRaceBand was first pioneered by ImmersionRC to allow more pilots to race together without interferance. Essentially, RaceBand is just another set of 5.8Ghz frequencies, to be specific they are: 5658, 5695, 5732, 5769, 5806, 5843, 5880, 5917.
