Menace RC cobDRIVER – Constant Current LED Driver (2–6S)

£8.95

The Menace RC cobDRIVER is a compact, lightweight constant-current LED driver designed to power Menace COB LEDs from a wide range of RC model battery voltages. It converts your model’s main battery supply into the correct regulated current required by the LEDs, ensuring stable brightness, efficient power conversion, and reliable operation.

The cobDRIVER supports flexible LED configurations, allowing 2, 4, 6, or up to 8 COB LEDs to be driven from a single board, depending on battery voltage and LED colour combination. This makes it suitable for navigation lighting, orientation lights, night flying, and high-visibility setups across aircraft, drones, cars, boats, and other electric RC models.

A dedicated EN (enable) pad allows simple on/off control. The driver can be left permanently on, switched via a flight controller output, or controlled from a radio receiver using a compatible RC switch module. This makes it easy to integrate with Betaflight, iNav, or fixed-wing flight controllers, as well as traditional RC systems.

The board layout is optimised for easy installation, with clearly marked pads and optional stack mounting. Two mounting holes allow installation in a 20 × 20mm stack, or the mounting tab can be removed to reduce size for tighter installations.

Please note COB LEDs are not included and must be purchased separately. Always refer to the Menace cobLED & cobDRIVER manual for supported battery voltages, LED counts, and mixed-colour configurations. Incorrect LED or voltage combinations may damage the LEDs or driver.
