£15.90

The Matek AP_Periph CAN Node L431 is a versatile DroneCAN peripheral interface board for ArduPilot systems. Running ArduPilot's AP_Periph firmware on an STM32L431 microcontroller, it turns supported UART, I²C, SPI and GPIO devices into native DroneCAN peripherals, which simplifies wiring while making the system more reliable and easier to extend.

It will talk to supported GNSS receivers, compasses, barometers and airspeed sensors, and it also offers PWM outputs, buzzer and LED notification, and battery voltage and current monitoring over the DroneCAN bus. Three UARTs, I²C, SPI, four ADC inputs and five PWM outputs make it well suited to building custom DroneCAN peripherals or folding existing sensors into an ArduPilot CAN network.

Dual JST-GH CAN connectors make daisy-chaining straightforward, and firmware updates go through the DroneCAN GUI Tool, so the CAN Node L431 suits UAV builders and developers alike when extending an ArduPilot-based aircraft.
