Unlike Velcro, which has two sides: Hook and Loop; Dual Lock Tape sticks to itself with exceptional strength through a novel use of interlocking mushroom shaped heads – 400 per square inch to be precise. The result is a hold up to 5X the tensile strength of traditional Hook-and-Loop products. Furthermore, unlike traditional Velcro, its hold doesn’t give up after use. Dual Lock opens and closes over 1000 times before losing 50% of its original tensile strength. The Tape has a high strength 3M™ adhesive backing, which will bond to pretty much anything making it a very versatile reclosable fastening solution.
