This is a 10inch Monitor with built in 1.2GHz receiver and DVR function. In comparison to using 5.8GHz FPV, a 1.2GHz link will get much better range and signal penetration. The Captain monitor can also be purchased in as a 5.8Ghz monitor – HERE .

Like all of Hawkeye’s FPV monitors, the Captain is easy to use. The monitor has a helpful auto-channel scan function and signal strength indicator. The power input for the display is 3-6S and it comes with a XT60 power lead. Other accessories include a stand and AV input lead.

FrSky R9 / TBS Crossfire Users – these radio control systems can interference with the 1.2G video link as they operate on adjoining frequencies. To help reduce interference we recommend fitting a notch filter or using a 5.8Ghz relay station so that the VRX can be positioned away from your radio control.
